Central Employment is currently looking for committed and passionate operatives to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment for one of our clients based in Durham.
Role Responsibilities
- To work as part of the warehousing team, sharing responsibilities for the manual handling of loading and unloading furniture from vehicles that drop off and pick up from the warehouses.
- Moving furniture as instructed between warehouses.
- Assist with monthly stock taking activities.
- Hand picking furniture from the warehouse through from order to dispatch.
- Inspect returned goods to identify the damage or other reason of return.
- Package saleable items in bubble wrap and cardboard ready to sell.
- Place furniture items in correct bin locations as instructed.
- Compliance with all company Health and Safety Policies/Regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving license
- Counterbalance forklift license
- Previous experience in a warehouse role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Rate Of Pay
- £11.44
Shifts
- Monday – Friday – 09:00am – 17:00pm (with flexibility)
