Overview:
Central Employment, the oldest independent recruiter in the North East, is seeking a Quality Control Assistant for a prestigious high-end ladies clothing brand based in Billingham. This contract position, lasting until the end of September, offers a stable work schedule. We are looking for someone with retail experience and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality standards for our client’s products.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect all orders before they are packed and dispatched to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Check returned items to assess their condition and determine if they meet return criteria.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and report any quality issues to the management team.
- Assist with packaging and shipping tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or a similar quality control role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-end clothing brands.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.

Rate of Pay:
