Packaging Operative

Central Employment is currently looking for an experienced Packaging Operative to work in a face paced pharmaceutical company for one our clients based in Northumberland. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Works under some direct supervision, training will be provided.
  • Will package a wide variety of products on a range of secondary and tertiary packaging operations according to SOP’s
  • Selects and dispenses required material, loads equipment, making adjustments to line as necessary
  • Responsible for full line changeovers and set-up according to detailed standard operating procedures and training aids.
  • Has responsibility for production and all associated paperwork and computer data entry.
  • Required to carry out full clean down of the packaging line in accordance with established procedures

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Primary secondary and tertiary packaging experience with a GMP environment is preferred
  • Packaging experience required with transferable skills
  • Basic literacy and mathematics skills required

 

Rate of Pay

£13.85

Shift Times & Days:

Early Shift – Monday – Thursday – 6.00am – 2.00pm early finish Friday

Late Shift – Monday – Thursday – 1.45pm – 9.45pm early finish Friday
