Welder Fabricator

Central Employment are looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic welder fabricators who want to join an established company based in Pallion, Sunderland. The right candidate would be joining an established company which provides bespoke fabrications and machinery tracks.  It is a great opportunity to get into long-term work as this is a temp to perm role which can lead to a very stable and rewarding career.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • They will be time served and have certificates that are stamped every 6 months with Lloyds or similar re tests every 2 years.
  • Working from detailed drawings and fabricate from this
  • Using different materials such as mild steel, aluminum and stainless to create products for a wide range of customers
  • Work independently on a wide range of different jobs
  • Candidate must be able to Read Engineering drawings, working on own or as part of a team if required.

 

Fabricator requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator or a similar role in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools, and machinery
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a variety of physical positions
  • Expertise in welding techniques and procedures including MIG, TIG, and ARC
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

 

Day shift: Monday to Thursday 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.00-12.00

£14.16 p/h

Overtime is time and a half for first 5 hrs after 40 and time and two thirds thereafter
