Concrete Plant Operatives

Location: Hartlepool

Job Description: We are seeking motivated Concrete Plant operators to join our client’s team in Hartlepool. As an Operative, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of the plant. This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, therefore resilience and adaptability are essential qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating hand and power tools proficiently.
  • Participating in various tasks related to concrete production.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols.
  • Demonstrating reliability and punctuality in attendance.
  • Working collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
  • Adhering to quality control standards to ensure product excellence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using hand and power tools is essential.
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday), 7am-4pm.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, with overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Understanding of the value of assigned tasks and commitment to excellence.
  • Previous experience in production or plant environments is desirable.
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Good timekeeping skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
