Central Employment are delighted to be looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and visionary Senior UX Designer, to join there award-winning Creative Studio team. 

  • FT studio based, central Newcastle
  • Up to £41,000 DOE + portfolio

Senior UX Designer profile: 

  • Transform ideas into visually stunning and functional web designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Visionary leader who can guide our design team, shape project visions, and engage with our customers to deliver exceptional design solutions.
  • A collaborative designer who can work closely with development teams to integrate design as a core component of the project lifecycle.
  • A UX expert who can provide advice and support on UX to our development teams, challenges conventional boundaries, and ensure designs are user-centric.
  • An experienced designer who understands the web development process and creates solutions that align with project scopes and development capabilities.

Required skills and experience

  • Extensive experience in designing user-centric experiences, focusing on usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Experience of working within a digital agency and or software house – 3/5 yrs ideally
  • Good understanding of the web development process, ensuring designs are delivered within project scope.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex concepts in an audience-appropriate, professional, and confident manner.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, including their components, guidelines, and principles, ensuring consistency and scalability in design projects.
  • Proficiency in Figma or equivalent and other relevant design tools.
