Overview:
Central Employment, the oldest independent recruiter in the North East, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Cleaner for our client based in Thornaby. This part-time role offers a competitive hourly rate and requires a commitment of 16 hours per week. The Facilities Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the client’s facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with any additional cleaning tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Rate of Pay:
– Hourly rate: £11.44.
