APPRENTICESHIP VACANCY

POSITION: Site Administration and Communications Apprenticeship – 18 months
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
LOCATION: Cramlington (UK)
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 08.45 – 17.00 (includes 6 hours training)

We have an amazing new opportunity for a Site Administration and Communications Apprentice at one of our clients in Cramlington.

This role will be varied and fast paced providing a professional service to support the site leadership team.

We want a candidate who will have excellent communication skills and a friendly and professional manner and is willing to engage with different stakeholders to undertake both forward facing reception duties as well as administrative and communication tasks.

Your mission:

  • Welcome internal and external visitors, ensuring that all requirements for access to the site are met.
  • Effectively manage the administration of the site.
  • Prepare & distribute incoming and outgoing post.
  • Assist with document management in line with GDPR regulations – scanning, filing and archiving of information.
  • Assist with travel, meeting and site event arrangements.
  • Support with the administration and facilitation of onsite initiatives manufacturing appreciation month, International Women’s Day, PRIDE etc.
  • Liaise with local schools and drive volunteering initiatives.
  • Act as a Personal Assistant to the Plant Manager.
  • Work with the Plant Leadership Team to support administration needs.
  • Ensure site communication tools are utilised and updated in line with corporate strategy and protocols.
  • Administration of site continuous improvement ideas system.

Qualifications Experience and Personal Profile:

  • Excellent communication and ability to communicate across multiple levels across the organisation, including global and European plants.
  • Ability to deal with information accurately and promptly
  • Creative, problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to achieving practical solutions to issues
  • Organisational skills with proficient attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literate in spreadsheets and documents
  • Ability to work independently with a positive collaborative approach
  • Flexible initiator with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
