In December 2022 Central Employment’s Steve Hart, Director visited The BAY Foodbank based in North Shields where we were able to donate £500.
‘The BAY Foodbank began in February 2012 with the fervent hope that we would be helping to meet a short-term need in the local community. Sadly, over 10 years later, we are serving greater numbers of people each year.’
BAY Foodbank aim to to provide food in an emergency to individuals, couples and families who find themselves in financial crisis, delivering between 30-50 emergency parcels each day. In September 2022 they delivered their 45,000th parcel.
