Job Description: We are in need of a dependable and adept NPORS FLT Counterbalance Operator, who holds a CSCS card, for a long-term engagement with our esteemed construction partner in Sunderland. The selected candidate will be responsible for proficiently manoeuvring a counterbalance forklift to support various construction activities on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Skilfully operate a counterbalance forklift to relocate materials and equipment on the construction site, ensuring utmost safety and efficiency.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures, prioritizing the welfare of oneself and colleagues on-site.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as necessary.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the counterbalance forklift to guarantee its optimal operational status.
- Maintain effective communication with fellow construction team members to coordinate tasks and assignments.
Requirements:
- Essential possession of a valid NPORS or CPCS license for operating a counterbalance forklift. Essential
- CSCS Card – essential
- Demonstrated experience operating a counterbalance forklift within a construction environment.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Willingness to undergo a recent fit-to-work medical examination or willingness to undertake one.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, with potential for weekend overtime as required.
