Central Employment are working with an award winning eCommerce Growth Consultancy in Newcastle, as they look to expand their Development team, with a new and exciting opportunity for a Junior Shopify Developer. 

Junior Shopify Developer profile: 

You’ll assist in the development, customisation, and optimisation of Shopify stores for our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced developers and gain hands-on experience with Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist in developing and customising Shopify themes
● Support the integration of apps and third-party services
● Work on front-end improvements using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
● Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features
● Help troubleshoot and resolve basic issues
● Stay up to date with Shopify updates and best practices

Requirements:

● A minimum of 1 years experience with Shopify
● Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
● A keen interest in ecommerce development and Shopify’s ecosystem
● Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn from feedback
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
● Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to grow your skills
