Central Employment is delighted to present an opportunity to work in a global pharmaceutical business. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented person to join the Incoming Goods Packaging Component team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business and understand the importance of quality compliance and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections and tests on incoming packaging components, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Handle supplier complaints by identifying non-conformities and providing feedback on rejected goods.
- Perform quality checks on incoming goods, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with other departments using SAP and GLIMS for record-keeping and tracking material status.
- Support production by conducting routine checks and audits to ensure all packaging materials meet quality and safety standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis of defects.
- Follow industry standards ensuring all practices align with customer and regulatory requirements.
Experience:
- Previous experience ideally within the pharmaceutical, food industry or a similar environment.
- A scientific degree is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with SAP.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to conduct visual tests accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
