Role Overview: The IML Technician ensures the efficient and high-quality operation of In-Mold Labeling (IML) machines, adhering to customer requirements and BRC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations:
    • Safely operate IML machines and robotics.
    • Perform product changeovers and setups according to specifications.
    • Diagnose and resolve machine faults.
    • Maintain machine efficiency and minimize scrap production.
  • Communication:
    • Report progress and issues to the Team Leader or Shift Manager.
    • Ensure accurate handover to the next shift.
  • Documentation:
    • Record and segregate scrap products.
    • Complete required IT system entries and paperwork accurately, including downtime logs.
  • Quality Control:
    • Follow procedures for label changes and tool changes.
    • Maintain the highest hygiene standards in the IML area.
  • Health & Safety:
    • Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policies.
    • Use equipment correctly and report any safety issues.
    • Follow correct lifting procedures and use protective equipment.
  • Housekeeping:
    • Keep the work area clean and safe.
    • Conserve power and minimize waste.
    • Wear and maintain provided uniform and safety gear.

  • Timely production of customer orders to specification.
  • Minimization and proper segregation of waste.
  • Compliance with BRC and quality standards.
  • Safe working practices.
  • Flexibility across different machines and roles.
